Best oral presentation for the paper titled “Approach for improvement of AnGR by assessing the indicators of Livestock production in the scenario of climate change” presented in the national seminar organized by Indian society of animal genetics and breeding at IVRI, Izatnagar in 17th to 19th January 2017.
2.	Certificate of Merit awarded by KVAFSU during University foundation day for the external funded project, 17th January 2019 at KVAFSU, Bidar.

Others Achievements

Presently in-charge of Malnad Gidda Research and information centre at veterinary College, Shivamogga. Involved in breed performance recording and managing the centre. Carrying out genetic research on this small statured breed. Also interested in motivating farmers for conservation of native breeds at large.
Interested in the area of small ruminant production, particularly interested in propagation of goats for milk production under intensive production system..
Have developed web resources for the reference of students and general public and is constantly writing and updating blogs in the area of Animal Genetics and Breeding. www.geneticslectures.blogspot.in, www.authorstream.com/Presentation/jayarajvet.
Contributed contents to training manuals and also published more than 30 popular articles both in English and Kannada. Published booklets in Kannada and English on the topics of Tree fodder production and Malnad Gidda cattle for the benefit of farmers and general public,
Participated in more than 20 technical conferences and presented research papers. And published more than 50 abstracts and full length articles in the compendium.
Life member and executive member of 10 technical organizations in the area Animal husbandry and Veterinary sciences and is active in organizing training and awareness program from these technical platforms.
Participated in radio and TV programs and contributed in the field of fodder production and animal production that were well received by the general public.
