Dr. Sunil Kumar M.A. Joined Dept. of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Govt. Of Karnataka in December 2010 as Veterinary Officer and later deputed to Veterinary College, Hassan as Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding/Livestock Farm Complex. A graduate (B.V.Sc) of Veterinary College, Bangalore, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Bidar (2008), Completed Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.S.c) in Animal Genetics and Breeding, Bangalore (2010), KVAFSU, Bidar.

Sunil Kumar worked as Veterinary Officer in Veterinary Dispensary in rural area for 3 years giving services to rural farmers by means of treatment, conducting Health camps, infertility camps to different livestock species and also providing Extension services to rural farmers. Later He Joined Veterinary College, Hassan on Deputation and worked in two departments (Dept. of AGB and Dept. of LFC). He is Involved himself in teaching of Under Graduate Course to B.V.Sc students and excited about developing their skills as well as scientific knowledge in the area of Animal Genetics and Breeding and Livestock Farm Practices. He is also working as Unit In charge Various Livestock Units. Published several scientific papers, abstracts in National Conferences and Journals.
