The Department of Veterinary Anatomy is engaged in imparting teaching Veterinary Anatomy to B.V.Sc & A.H students as per MSVE 2016 guidelines of Veterinary Council of India, and M.V.Sc/Ph.D courses as per ICAR guidelines. Veterinary Anatomy department is having well developed Gross Anatomy Laboratory and Histology laboratory for UG/PG teaching and having a museum depicting various organs/ specimens and skeletons. The department is doing research work on plastination technique corrosion cast technique, comparative histology of organs of sheep and goat in this region and completed a ICAR ADHOC project entitled “Comparative study to ascertain draftability of Deoni and Deoni X HF crossbred cattle”. The faculty has published two text books and more than 100 research paper/abstract.
