Dr. Ashok Pawar Graduated from Veterinary College, Bangalore, post graduate from Madras Veterinary College, Chennai and Ph.D from Veterinary College, Bidar. Joined service as Instructor in the university in the year 1987, worked as Training Assistant (animal Science), Assistant Professor, Associate professor and working as Professor and Head and Involved in UG/PG teaching. Principle investigator for ICAR ADHOC entitled " Comparative study to ascertain draftability of Deoni and Deoni X HF crossbred cattle. And Co-PI for ICAR adhoc project entitled “An integrated study to evaluate Kanguri breed of sheep for mutton production and breed improvement for sustainable animal enterprise in Hyderabad, Karnataka region”. Published 40 research papers and abstracts and received Dr. Kalaigner M.Karunanidhi award during M.V.Sc. and Gold medal in Ph.D.Best paper award and Best poster award at IAVA conference held Mumbai in 2002. Best paper award at IAVA conference held  at   Lucknow  in 2009 and at  Pondicherry  in 2010. Worked as  ICAR nodal officer for  ICAR education division  on behalf of university  from 2016 to 2018 and deputy registrar ( administration) KVAFSU,  bidar during the year 2012-2015.
