Others Achievements

Outlined 44 indigenous fish species having ornamental value from Western Ghats and malnad region of Karnataka.
Developed captive brood stock, breeding and rearing techniques for 16 fishes of Western Ghats, of which Garra gotyla has been bred for the first time in the world under captivity.
Developed mass propagation techniques for ornamental aquatic plants using special technique of nutrient bed technology.
Developed enzyme based ecofriendly ornamental fish feeds, carotenoid based ornamental fish feeds for color enhancement, probiotic based immunity provider feeds for larval fish rearing and earthworm manure based species specific feeds for Western ghat loaches.
