The Department offers undergraduate & postgraduate courses which includes Taxonomy, Anatomy, Biology & Physiology of finfish & shellfish, Inland & Marine Fisheries, Marine Mammals, Reptiles & Amphibians, Fish Population Dynamics & Stock Assessment, Fisheries Regulations, Integrated Coastal Zone Management, Marine Ecosystem, Biodiversity & Conservation, Conservation & Management of Exploited  Fisheries Resources, Remote sensing & GIS for fisheries.
