World Environment Day 2018 Celebrations in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts of Karnataka during June- 2018
India has been chosen has global host for world Environment day -2018. In this regard Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Govt. of India, New Delhi has planned to undertake a cleaning of beaches and river stretches in the country under the tagline of “Beat Plastic Pollution” . College of Fisheries, Mangaluru in collaboration with, District Administration, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District are organizing the event in association with MoEF & CC,GOI, New Delhi

Technical Consultancy
- Assisted in identification of fin fishes and shellfishes for local fishermen and students of various colleges and institutes.
- Consultancy services were provided to coastal fishermen on conservation and sustainable utilization of marine fisheries resources.
- The PFZ advisory provided by INCOIS is being disseminated to stakeholders of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts through mobile message (SMS).
