VETERINARY PARASITOLOGY

Department of Veterinary Parasitology is one of the para-clinical disciplines of Veterinary Science established at Veterinary College, Shivamogga by the university since its inception (Year 2006). Presently, the department is offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses as per MSVE-2016 of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The department is equipped with specimens and slides of different parasites which is very useful for undergraduate students. The department is well equipped with preparatory and analytical equipments which are helpful for research activities. Fecal samples, blood samples and other parasitic diseases of animals, birds and wild animals will be diagnosed in this Department laboratory which is helpful to nearby farmers and forest department.
